puppy love lifestyle session Clarksville, TN || the Blakes

From the very first email exchange, I just knew Kaitlyn and I were on the same page for her lifestyle portrait session. It was cemented after our ice cream date to plan out the final details. She wanted something cute with her husband Zack and their two rescue puppies, Ranger and Bailey. If I didn’t have two rescues of my own, I totally would have stole hers after our morning of snuggling!

What I love most about this couples session is how gorgeous it turned out! Kaitlyn was SO nervous and kept telling me she felt her house wasn’t decorated enough, they were only renting and it wouldn’t look good in photos. I reminded her to trust me, that I saw her house as the perfect back drop for their session and it was! I loved that she and I sat down and discussed the little details like the pajamas and socks she was going to wear, to showing her whole family-fur babies included.

These two are so freaking adorable! I consider both of them friends now and am so touched they let me into their lives. Their adorable couples session was planned around a lazy Sunday morning in Clarksville, TN. Zack is Active Duty here at Fort Campbell, KY, so the weekdays can be absolute nonstop on the go. Both Zack and Kaitlyn live hectic, busy lives, so this down time is an important must in their day-to-day routines and that’s why lifestyle sessions are so great! There’s no stressing about outfits or getting everyone to post perfectly. This portrait session captures the intimate, every day moments of your life. And you can see, the Blakes life is full of love, smiles and puppy love!
