the secret garden engagement session Nashville, TN || Rachel & Johnny

Where to start with these two?! Rachel and Johnny are two of the sweetest, most down to earth people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I think their engagement session truly shows that.

The adorable couple met through mutual friends and were recently reunited at Fort Campbell, KY after Johnny returned home from a deployment with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). They are planning a gorgeous fall wedding next year at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art, so of course we took full advantage of the gorgeous location in Nashville, TN, for their engagement pictures! Everything from dancing under a canopy of vines to snuggling by a pond under the shade of a large tree, these two were up for it all. I think my favorite part is Rachel’s gorgeous tulle skirt! When she asked me for outfit recommendations, I told her I had been dying to shoot a tulle skirt, so she went and purchased one just for our session. I think she totally rocked it.
