Country family stroll Fort Campbell, KY || Moore Family
My background with horses is primarily focused on the English riding style, but I secretly have a love-affair with all things western. I think the western style is so romantic! So of course, when my sweet friend Amanda said she wanted western-styled family photos, to include her gorgeous horse Ziva, I was over the moon!
Amanda and her daughter have the sweetest, most infectious smiles ever, and her husband Paul has your typical stoic cowboy-meets-Army type aurora, but his girls sure pulled some smiles out of him. We started our session with a cute black background session with Ziva and her daughter, check it out here, then kept things light and casual with an easy walk around the Fort Campbell Riding Stables, nestled in the Clarksville, TN/middle Tennessee region. We timed the session to catch those gorgeous setting sun rays, what we photographers love to call ‘golden hour’. Amanda’s family did not disappoint, with lots of laughter, love and genuine smiles.
After we captured some great candids with their horse, the Moore family and I kept exploring the stable’s property for some fun family shots and candids between mom and dad. Capturing the individual relationships, as well as your family shots, is important for every session I capture! Looking back, you want to remember how little your kiddo was or how sweet their giggle sounded. I absolutely loved getting to capture Amanda’s family and would love to capture yours, fur babies included!
