Adventures with Mommy & Me Clarksville, TN || the Heilesons

One day, while checking my email, I came across a sweet, deployed husband asking about booking a session for his wife and son, as a surprise! It was one of the sweetest emails I’ve ever received and I absolutely loved being a part of it!! I delivered flowers and a gift certificate to his sweet wife, and from there, we started planning this fun adventure!

Her son loves trains, so we decided to have a mom and son day at the train museum in downtown Clarksville, TN. We had a blast exploring the stationary train and checking out the model train engines inside the museum. Little Heileson even got a conductor hat and train whistle, which he put to good use! Even though Dad was missed, he wasn’t far from their thoughts. With an old, stationery phone inside the museum, the pair “called” Daddy to tell him they missed him! It was such a sweet moment. These lifestyle portrait sessions are so fun because we keep things casual, no stressful posing or fusing about the perfect smile. Each little moment is perfect in it’s own imperfect way. I love when clients opt for a more documentary style session.
