Equine black background Middle Tennessee || Dolly

As a Thoroughbred owner, I can personally attest to the squirreliness of their brains sometimes. I love my guy, but he can drive me insane with the calm in one moment, “prancing stallion” the next. Miss Dolly here totally threw me for a loop. As a Thoroughbred, and only four-years old at that, she was the calmest, most polite horse I’ve worked with (including my own!) She was happy to just stand and look where we wanted, she wasn’t phased by my bag of tricks to get a reaction with, although she did respond nicely to the noise makers we used. Photographing Dolly for a black background session at Barnett’s Farm and Stable in Woodlawn, TN was such a breeze! And seriously y’all..her pictures are gorgeous!

Black background sessions are 30 minutes long and typically include 5-7 hand edited images. A barn aisle, indoor arena or shaded area are all that is needed for these types of equine shoots, so don’t let the fear of not having ‘good enough’ facilities stop you! I travel throughout the middle Tennessee region and am located directly in Clarksville, TN. Black background sessions are offered at a discounted rate when multiple sessions are booked, making these a great option for barn photos.
