Lavender field sessions are quickly becoming my secret love for photo sessions, especially for my couples! And Menkveld Farms lavender field in Nolensville/Nashville area is the perfect backdrop for any type of photography.

I couldn’t wait to have Jose and Susan in front of my camera for their gorgeous couples photos! Because Nashville traffic sucks, we only had a short window for our session before the light was gone. Thankfully, the owners of Menkveld Farm were super accommodating with our time block, and the sun held on just long enough for us to grab some gorgeous photos. These two are crazy about each other, and it really showed! They swore up and down they were awkward in photos, but they were total naturals for our shoot together. I love getting one-on-one time with couples, especially those with big families like these two have. It’s important for couples to take time for themselves and keep that fire burning. Plus, these two are just drop dead gorgeous!
