Family Lavender Field Middle Tennessee || F Family
The Fletcher family session at the lavender field at Menkveld Farm was probably one of the more exciting sessions I’ve had in awhile! We’d had nothing but heavy thunderstorms and even a few tornados in Middle Tennessee in the days leading up to this session, even the day of was spotted with thunderstorms. But it was now or never before Andrea and her family were in from Alabama, so we couldn’t really afford to push the session! All of us agreed to bump her time up, and we raced from Clarksville, TN to Nolensville, TN, doing every ‘please don’t rain’ dance we could think of.
And y’all…we watched that storm roll in, sprinkle the tiniest bit, and then roll right on out. It was perfect! We got a cool breeze to break up the summer heat and humidity and really got to enjoy a fun family photo session. Her kids were the absolute sweetest, and so much fun to photograph. I love shooting in lavender fields, and this session was no exception! Plus, Andrea styled her family photos perfectly so that their outfits complimented the lavender plants beautifully. I love when a well planned photography session comes together for some memorable family photos.
