Never far apart homecoming Fort Campbell, KY || the Wallaces

family, life, lifestyle, military, Uncategorized

One of the sweetest parts of my job as a photographer is getting to capture that long awaited kiss and hug, that rush of emotion as you feel your Soldier’s arms close around you after waiting so long, and the moment all your countdowns end. A military homecoming is one os the most unique and emotional events you could ever experience. Fort Campbell, KY is a rapid deploying base, so homecomings are a very frequent event, but every one is special. Angela’s homecoming at the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) hanger was no exception. With her two littles and extended family, she impatiently waited to be reunited with her Soldier.

While waiting, Angela and I got to talk about the deployment, the challenges she faced and the anticipation of seeing her Soldier again. The strength of a military family knows no bounds. They make some of the biggest sacrifices for our country. Thank you Angela for letting me capture this special day for you! Make sure you check out her adorable fusion video below.

I am currently booking homecomings for the Fort Campbell, KY area. To inquire about your video fusion homecoming, email info@sammiedphotography.com.
