Full hearts for a welcome home Fort Campbell, KY || the Fullers

family, life, lifestyle, military, Uncategorized

To the outside world, it may seem like once you’ve attended one military homecoming, you’ve attended them all, but for me, that’s never the case. Each one is so special, not just because a family is once again whole, but because our Soldiers are home safely. At Fort Campbell, KY, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many Screaming Eagle homecomings, and I treasure each one.

The Fuller family couldn’t be more excited to welcome home a husband, father and son. Though timelines shift and rain dampens conditions, nothing can deter the excited hum as you hear that the plane has landed or those blissful words of “open those doors!”” Emotions hit an all time high and tears roll down the eyes of the toughest Soldiers, because nothing beats that feeling of the first warm embrace after being apart for months. Thank you for inviting me into your family Fullers and welcome home Chief Fuller!
