What are your prices? Sammie D Photography clients invest on average between $650 to $1,150 in their session and products. For a more detailed quote, please email me so we can discuss your session! Payment plans are available for collection purchases only.
Why do you charge a separate session fee? The session fee covers all of our time prior to our session, the actual session and your ordering/review session. This includes the pre-consultation were we sit down and go over different products offered, styling tips and the overall direction you want to see your photos go. The session fee also covers tracking down your perfect session location, any props that may be used, etc. You and I will then sit down after your session to review your photos and decide which photo will look best with what you order. I’m with you every step of the way to answer any questions you have.
What are in your packages? Packages start out giving you a small taste of my favorite products and build up to include everything I would want out of my own session! Packages can include digital images, prints, canvases, albums, mobile apps, etc.
What if I just want to purchase digital images? Not a problem! I can provide a recommended list of labs to give you decent prints if you choose. Prints not ordered through Sammie D Photography are not guaranteed satisfaction as some labs can provide poor coloring and/or cropping on photos. There is a minimum ordering requirement of $200 for any order, to include digital images.
Can I buy just a couple of prints? Of course, as long as your order meets the minimum requirement of $200 you may order prints, albums, canvases, etc. I always encourage clients to purchase collections or predesigned sets to get the most of your images. If you are looking for prints to send to family, I highly recommend gift prints or designing a greeting card!
When should I schedule my session? Because of my military schedule, I highly encourage you to inquire as soon as possible. I typically book 3-4 weeks out, but have booked sessions several months in advance. Seniors are encouraged to contact me in the spring so we can schedule your spring/summer session and your fall mini session.
When do I get to see my images? I love seeing a client’s reaction to their first look at photos! Because of this, I keep them under tight wraps until your in-person ordering and review session, roughly one week after your session. I may post one or two teaser images on Facebook, but your gallery will not be available for viewing until your in-person ordering day.
How do I order? Following your in-person ordering session, your photos will be available in an online gallery for 21 days. This will be password protected and provide any family or friends the ability to order as well. I highly encourage clients to place an order the day of their appointment to take full advantage of the 20% discount, good for that day only. If your gallery expires and you have not placed an order, there will be a $75 reactivation fee.
